Wrote my essay on a trip to hawaii, specifically on a day spent learning from Hawaiian elders (Kupuna) And how their culture and beliefs have impacted my life and way of thinking, as well as influenced my major and future goals (Peace corps, international service)

wrote common app activity short answer on experiences working with residents of Nursing home I volunteer at - About listening to their life stories, helping those who need it with exercise, and how they give me advice, how I find it beneficial to put a smile on their faces and hear their take on things.

So...do I have a shot? I'm getting really nervous as it gets closer to the end of the month...

Also, I have glowing recommendations from my favorite english teacher, and I believe he discussed (I did not see the letter) the poetry I had written for class, as well as for the literary magazine, and how he saw me develop as a student and writer during the years he taught me, and my spanish teacher, who I believe (again, did not see the letter) discussed my dedication to learning the language through the four years she taught me (including during the college course she currently teaches me in) and my interest in and thirst for knowledge of cultures we learn about in class, and how reliable and dedicated I am to what I learn. And from my guidance counselor, who I believe wrote about the thought I put into choosing good courses, how I always demanded she let me take the ones I wanted (despite her warnings of overworking myself) and who talked about how much impact I have on other students through the tutoring I do with them in our schools Academic Learning Center.

Anyone? I’m really worried I won’t get in, and after an overnight I did, it’s my top choice.

Bump…
