Anyone have any, besides alcohol?

Put the computer far out of reach. Seriously, that’s how I make myself fall asleep.

In a pinch I will use tylenol PM. >.< I usually can’t fall asleep because I haven’t BEEN falling asleep so I sleep to much during the day, it’s a vicious cycle-- which can be broken for good in one night if I use the tylenol. For actual honest to god insomnia I’d recommend a hot shower, no harsh lighting in your room an hour before bedtime (if you can help it), and stay away from the computer and television-- read a book. Maybe a warm (non-caffeinated) drink? Exercise more during the day? Improve your diet? If none of that works I’d seriously recommend talking to your doctor about it, because lack of sleep feeds other health conditions and can REALLY affect your overall health, not to mention your schoolwork.

wow please tell me if you find a solution. i try to make my sleeping pattern 11pm-7am but it always finds a way to shift to like 5am-2pm (and i end up skipping class). thats why im up right now.

dont nap during the day and just stay up one night as long as you can and wake up during your regular time. you will be tired as ****, but then go to sleep at like 9-10 the following night and continue sleeping around the same time. also go to the gym or something and tire yourself out and dont drink/eat any sugary/caffeinated products a couple hours before sleep

Pound back a glass of warm milk.

Don’t take meds w/o doc telling you so. That is a really bad habit to get into.
