did anyone apply to INSPIRE? i'm kind of doing it / slacking off not doing it right now. so i was also wondering (i'll check the emory website too) if there is a way undergrads can do research even if they don't get into INSPIRE.

yes there are other opportunities for research. the SIRE program (scholarly inquiry and research at emory) allows you to research with a professor in you sophomore and junior years (this is the research partner program). there are also various grants from the program to do independent research projects.

finally!! SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONS INSPIRE!! I've been trying to get some response but sheesh. i applied 'early' and am doing it. so excited. i have no idea how many ppl apply/how many ppl are actually in the program though

Is the INSPIRE program something that high school seniors apply to before freshman year? Can someone give some details about that (do you apply after you are accepted to the college, for instance).?

an INSPIRE letter is sent to all admitted students
