Monmouth university is coming to my community college in NJ this spring for instant decision day. My major is accounting and my gap is a 3.65. Do you think I will get accepted? What should I expect? Has anybody ever did this with Monmouth university? Will they just look at my application, essay, and transcripts or will they interview me.? Thanks for the help.
@mets06 - I have no idea what they will do to determine if you can be accepted or not, but (no slam intended here) Monmouth University is pretty easy to get into. Their 25-75% ACT range is 22-25. So, with a GPA of 3.65 do I think you will be accepted? 100% for sure.
The way Instant Decision Days work is that you have to register and give them your transcript and SAT/ACT scores upon arrival. They look at it while you basically get a tour and an “open house” experience. At the end of the day, you get a decision. What’s your SAT score?
Ask the Transfer Advisor at your community college. That person should be able to tell you whether it is likely that you meet the requirements for admission at Monmouth. Also, find out if you need an appointment with the admissions officer who is visiting, and what you need to take with you.
Good luck!
