<p>No real difference. Actually might be a little easier to get in out of state full pay.</p>
<p>No financial advantage to UW for Minn residents- it is not full pay. Do apply and find out if UW will accept you.</p>
<p>I meant overall OOS excluding Minn has had a small advantage in admissions recently. Minn is the same as instate for admissions and they pay Minn’s instate tuition rate–which is much higher than UW’s instate rate BTW.</p>
<p>NO! UW is in a bit of a financial pickle so they lower standards for out of state students because they pay roughly twice as much for instate students (UW and Minn kids) and, conversely, raise the standards for instate students. So sorry to say, but instate kids have it a lot tougher to get in.</p>
