instate tuition

i currently am a california resident, but I want to attend UIUC

so the question is, do i get instate residency for my SECOND year there? ive already accepted 30k/year for out of state -__-

anyway, if thats true, then im going.. if not, im going to UC san diego

thanks!

No. You are presumed to retain the residency of your parents unless you can establish independence. To do that, and get in-state residency status for tuition, you need to live AND work here continuously for a year and be responsible for paying your own way, for personal expenses and college. And to get that year residency, you cannot count any of the time that you are attending college.

so pretty much forget it right

No, you have to pay out-of-state tuition for all 4 years, which is the same policy as the UCs.
