<p>Simple question; how/where do international student go for contents insurance if living in university residence? Obviously parent home policies won't cover anything from another country and I have found no companies here in Canada who offer insurance policies for what students own and bring to uni.</p>

<p>I am not sure where you are from but I know that my D is going to college in the States and my home owners insurance covers her belongings while in dorm there. Have you tried your home insurance company.</p>
