Hi! Could someone explain how the iMPA program works (when to apply, requirements, difficulty, adv/disadv, etc)?
Thanks
.
This is a 5 year program where you end up with a BBA and a Masters of Accounting. You apply at the end of you sophomore year, and if you are accepted the redo your schedule placing you into special “MPA” accounting classes (I believe these faster than what a normal BBA Accounting major would take. Your senior year you start taking some graduate level courses, this is how you do it in 12 months. If you went the normal traditional MPA route you would need to take 43 credits to get the MPA, with the iMPA you take around 31 your 5th year. Obviously with 43 credits, the traditional MPA takes 18 months. Its a prestigious program, and challenging to get in. You can get the stats from the website, but you need like a 3.5 or higher usually to get in.
Thank you!
