Which is better integrated Mathematics 1 in 8th grade or algebra 1 in 8th grade?
Depends on whether you will be going on to a high school that uses integrated math (2 and 3) or has a more traditional math sequence (geometry and algebra 2), or offers a choice of either, to follow. If you are a strong math student, consider whether honors courses are available for each sequence. After either sequence, the usual math course is precalculus, followed by calculus.
