<p>Does anyone know if you have to be a US citizen to apply to Intel STS? I am a permanent resident, but not a citizen so I'm not sure if I can apply.</p>
<p>Only requirement is that you have to go to HS in the US, or be a US citizen/permanent resident. So you can apply, although the deadline for this year is already past.</p>
<p>I am a junior now, so I would be applying next year. </p>
<p>Are you 100% sure? I checked the website, and it said that you have to be a citizen. (It doens’t mention anything about permanent residents). I just want to be 100% sure because if I have to, I can apply for citizenship if permanent residents can’t compete.</p>
