What is the intellectual interest essay asking about? A subject/class that we enjoy? A specific idea/book? I've left this one till the last minute... the rest of my app is done and waiting, just confused about what it's asking.

I think it's either some special intellectual experience you had (like maybe a lecture by a famous person, a special program, or a special project you did) or if you're like me and have never done any of those things... I wrote about a topic I thought was interesting, wrote about multidimensions (like in physics) and my weird theories about how they relate to philosophy.

at first I tried to talk about The Fountainhead and Objectivism...but it came out sounding impersonal so I switched to talking about my yoga therapy-related science projects. Apparently something worked, so I would suggest revealing something about you intellectually that maybe not every one has in their possession.

Wow, you read The Fountainhead too!?! I looooved the book and was also planning on writing about it in my essay too, but eventually opted not to.

Hah. done. After reading Guns of the South, I was going to write mine on alternate history, but searching the forums revealed some one else was too. I didn't want to be lame.

I dwelled on this one for 2 days.. i kept myself in my room for the whole time just to make sure i got it done the best i could

This essay was really annoying. I ended up writing about rocket science.

I wrote about Comp Sci, seeing that I was the only girl in either AP class with 25 guys each, and I had never done it before, but I love problem solving, and my math teacher told me i should try it. (this is last year, but hey, it worked :-))

I loved the fountain head too!!! was also gonna write about it but decided not to at last minute. wrote about ethics/politics/economics of america's strategy of non-proliferation
