Intellectual Supplement Question

<p>Would someone please explain the full extent of this essay subject? I want to know so that I may have a better idea on what I can or can't write about. I mean what is an intellectual interest?</p>

<p>An intellectual interest is something that is intellectual and interests you.</p>

<p>Intellectual as in academics only or can I write about athletics, music, volunteer, or other ECs?</p>

<p>Now I thought, "Hey this doesn't help," so I went on to look up intellect. I found:
the power or faculty of the mind by which one knows or understands, as distinguished from that by which one feels and that by which one wills; the understanding; the faculty of thinking and acquiring knowledge. </p>

<p>So back I am. I'm thinking I write about Anything that requires thinking and allows me to gain knowledge?</p>
