Intellectual vitality = atheism?

I know this is kinda last-minute, but the Stanford "intellectual vitality" essay is the last one that I have left and it's stumping me. I guess the most obvious idea would be to talk about atheism; I'm an atheist and have pretty strong opinions on the matter. I would try to make it original by discussing the Omphalos hypothesis or something, but I still fear that an essay about atheism would be trite. I guess I could do vegetarianism instead, which I could also tie philosophy into, but IDK. Help?

Extremely trite. And it will most likely give off a bad impression. You know how religion does. Vegetarianism with a philosophical tie in might be better.
