<p>Is there any sort of an academically oriented, intellectually curious culture at UMiami? Or are students generally more concerned with the "work hard, play hard" attitude?</p>
<p>If there’s one thing that I’ve learned from this forum and others, it’s that you’ll find all student types at all universities. It all depends on how hard you want to try to find them.</p>
<p>Exactly what Marinebio444 said. Finding people who party is easy, but so is finding academic-types. There are definitely some clubs that make it easier to meet academic-types, though. I’ve heard good things about the Ethics club, for example.</p>
