<p>Haha since when has physical attractiveness been inheritable?</p>

<p>I can’t prove it’s false because I know practically nothing about genetics and w/e but I’d like to see someone prove it to be true.</p>

<p>Also, the last major paragraph in that Psychology Today post really bothers me because why is it that attractiveness is only assigned to women and intelligence only to men?</p>

<p>I think the author is suggesting that men are more attracted to beautiful women while women are attracted to men of status, so the offspring of such a mating may tend to combine the looks with the status-producing intelligence. Actually, that’s not a very complementary stereotype for either gender (though there may still be something to it).</p>
