intended major effect on chance of admission

I'm hoping to get into an ivy. Does the intended major/academic interests I write on the application affect my chance of getting in? Do they not like it if applicants are undecided or have many interests that are kind of opposites?

My extracurriculars suggest that i am interested in pre-med or business and my academics suggest i am interested in science. I don't know what i want to major in, i just want to increase my chances of getting in since i can change it later. Is it better to just choose one to look like i'm focused and i know what i'm doing?

btw, i don't know if it makes a difference, but i'll mention that i am asian...
