intense methods to raise my CR score?

Alright all you smarties out there, I need some help...!

So the June test I bombed it....T_T...I got a 2080. Okay for some of you guys that may be the score you want, but consider this: my CR score rose 20 points from January to June (from 630 to 650). Funny huh? I solved all the blue book questions with timed sections before the June Tests, memorized words from Word Smart I and II like crazy...did math tutor and yet, not much improved.

SO I came to the conclusion that improving my CR would help me get 2200!!
These days after readign alot of articles from the WAll Street journal...Ny times...you name it, I get 700~800 on my practice tests. But the problem is that these are the tests I have taken before...(BB or REleased exams).

Can you guys suggest some intense methods that will help me raise that CR score? (by the way...im talking about long pasages...i rarely get any vocab wrong: that asian memory thing helps me i guess...) PLEASE!

Read the entire New York Times front section every day (or, if you are pressed for time read the national news section). When you a word you don’t understand, look it up, when you don’t understand a rhetorical device being used, ask about it. For the critical reading, you have to be able to read quickly and you must be able to read at a reasonably high level.
