Inter-UC transfer accepted to Berkeley, but a few discrepancies have arisen... Advice?

So I have a few issues.

First: I didn’t include the score of one of my APs because I didn’t think I had to include them all; I only included the ones I was looking to receive credit for. Now I see that I have to submit all of my scores, so is this a problem? I’ve seen on other posts that APs can only help, but that’s a response given to people who aren’t already accepted. Technically it shouldn’t matter if they can only help, but it still stresses me out.

Second: Way back when I was filling out my academic update, I included that I was going to take 4 somewhat arbitrary classes in Spring, all of them falling under CogSci (my major) but not necessary prereqs, and continue my 2-unit research position. Due to scheduling difficulties I had to drop the research position and switch one CogSci class out for another one. Due to financial difficulties I also had to take on a job, leading me to lighten my load by dropping one of the classes shortly after the start of the quarter.

I hadn’t even thought that getting into Berkeley was a possibility, so I wasn’t too worried about staying faithful to the planned schedule. Now, however, I’m kinda freaking out. I’ve tried contacting my admissions officer, but I’m assuming there will be a long and cold silence over the weekend.

Has anyone heard anything about someone in either of these situations? How much of a chance is there that my offer is going to be rescinded because of either of these?

Contact admissions since they are the only ones that can tell you what you need to do.

Yeah, I figured as much. Just looking for somebody who might know something while I wait for a response from them.

Not sending an AP won’t be a problem. I actually contacted them about that during last admission cycle, and they said that you only have to send the ones you want credit for. I know it doesn’t say that explicitly, but it’s implied (or intended to be).

As far as dropping classes, no one knows for sure. I will say, however, that they rescind very few people, and it’s almost always for failing classes, a major dip in GPA, or dropping IGETC classes and pre reqs. If you immediately contact them and explain your financial and scheduling situation, I would be surprised if they rescinded your acceptance.

I doubt this will be an issue. As @music1990 said the AP will be fine and it’s sounding like you’re saying you dropped a course not related to major requirement, IGETC or minimum unit count.

Just let them know, but you should be ok.

Also switching out a cog Sci course for another will be fine.

This is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thank you both!

For people that stumble upon this in the future:

Just talked with my admission officer over the phone. Everything was a complete non-issue. All he cared about was that the pre-reqs were still satisfied and that the units still checked out. Boy, it feels good to be undoubtedly Berkeley bound.

Congrats. Breathe easy. Enjoy!
