Interactive Media major acceptance rate?

<p>My son is interested in majoring in interactive media at USC, but doesn't think it's worth applying. USC would be a big reach, and the Interactive Media program only accepts 20 students a year. His GPA is about 3.4UW/4.0W, SAT 780 CR, 710 M, 710 CR, mediocre EC's, good essays and recs.</p>

<p>Does anyone know the acceptance rate for the Interactive Media major at USC? Any opinions on chances of acceptance?</p>

<p>Well, the SAT scores are good, though the UW GPA is a bit low.</p>

<p>It can’t hurt can it? If that is what he really wants, he should apply.</p>
