interational student transfer (applying in 2008)- within US

grinnell currently has a surplus of internationals. 2 or 3 internationals transfer in every year.

If you guys are expecting aid then isn't it very hard to transfer

i don't know much about how hard is to get admitted as a transfer student, but i know that grinnell doesn;t see students' capability to pay while reviewing the application.

tinytony

why do u want to transfer out of Grinnel??

What may b your transfer colleges/universities??

What r ur stats?

to tinytony,

i'm too intrested in your stats. can u post it????????//

Transfer admissions are way more competitve than Freshman admissions. Add to that your International status and you have a double whammy. I'd suggest that you work hard on your "Why do you want transfer to XYZ school?" essay. Schools get loads of essays which just say that "...this is why I hate my college (but obviously, it takes 500 words to get that across)." Write your essay carefully and don't make it sound like you're just bashing your current college (even if it is the case).

yes, i agree!!!!!!
