Hello, I want to ask current Cal students about intercampus transfers to Cal, or basically Haas Business school.

Assuming that I do well in UCLA pre-business, maintaining a high GPA of around 3.7 or above (I'm not sure how UCLA grades its students but say top 5%), is it possible to transfer from UCLA to CAL Haas?

I am not worried about my extra curriculum activities or anything because I speak 5 languages and have lived in close to 9 countries......

I heard that it is quite difficult to transfer from a UC to another UC, so would it be easier to transfer from UCLA to Cal than say Irvine, Davis, or UCSD?

If anyone knows a person like that, it would be great if you can tell me about his/her stats, thanks!

very very difficult, i've only known two people who have transferred from ucla to cal (not into haas though) but i dont know what their stats were

ive heard that it is veeery difficult to transfer within the uc system
esp into cal or ucla

i was at cal yesterday
for haas, transfer rate is about 10% acceptance
about 50 for continuing cal students
there was no differentiation among transfers between within uc and outside of it

you'll need to do better than "well"

im considering cal next year
but kind of really scared about the haas admission stuff being too cutthroat...
