I am about to graduate with a bachelor’s of science in psychology. I am interested in a wide variety of disciplines including biology, neuroscience, philosophy, religion, and neuro-engineering. My goal right now is to get a PhD in psychology with the hopes of being able to practice therapy while researching interdisciplinary topics at the same time. I want to be like Scott Barry Kaufman PhD, Jordan Peterson, and Bruce Perry. I just want to be able to continue learning for the rest of my life and not get pigeonholed into one category. Does anyone have any advice for me about where to apply or how to go about shaping an interdisciplinary career in psych?
