Interest in transfering into Ross, Stern or Madison

Currently a freshman at UGA, and interested about transfer to Ross, stern or Madison in the fall of 2010. can anyone tell me the chance that i had. Major will be actuary science and finance.

High school GPA -4.05 top 10%
Member of the swimming team, Key club and the founder of the table tennis club in my high school
ACT 28( i know it is low, but i heard it is not important for transferring. is that true?)
College GPA -3.57 I underestimate the college at the first semester.
Clubs - members of the table tennis club, swimming club and the international business club. Commit member of the Relay for life.
Work at part time at the business office and computer store.
What is my chance for getting into those three schools?

PS: will college check my second semester grades, because my gpa would go up by then.
Thanks for leaving any useful advices.

Your SAT/ACT score is not as important for junior transfer, there actually not really looked at. I’d say wait to apply till end of first semester of your sophomore year. You’re on the right track.

i agree with Bruins on waiting. Stern is very competitive to transfer into, because their retention rate is very high. if you wait, your high school stuff won’t matter as much. if you could get an internship or something, that would also help a lot.

thank you… but the thing is i think i did really good in high school so i think it could help me in admission.
What about other two school, Michigan and Madison? Do u think i got a chance if i am applying for fall 2010?

thank y’all…
one more question, if i am applying 2010 fall, will they check my grade for the 2010 spring semester grade? cuz i believe my gpa will increase at the second semester.
