So are my schools reach, match, in between? Also can anyone recommend good safeties?
I don't know if I want to ED anywhere, or if I could do better with regulation application to more prestigious schools.

Scores are too low for ivies. Small shot if you’re from Maine, VT, NH. Amherst, tufts and Williams also major reaches. BC, Bowdoin reach/match.

Given your very competitive pool (Asian from NE) ED would benefit you. I’d consider it at Bowdoin and BC.

I will be retaking the SATs this October.

What should I aim for?

Currently practicing CR…

Welcome to CC! Where the extraordinary are ordinary, the overachieving come standard, and incredulously amazing profiles come standard. Yes, I’m exaggerating, but only by a little, where that’s a good thing or not. So then…

Your SAT Is and ECs are going to hurt. I don’t agree with Redroses’ statement that Amherst, Tufts, and Williams are all major reaches; Tufts especially is probably a low reach or so. I don’t see Boston College as a reach by any standard, high match I’d say. Then again, I find Redroses to be better qualified and informed, so take whatever I put down with caution.

If I were you, I’d work on perfecting the math section. I can tell you from experience that practicing CR does not help much in the long run–the return for whatever time and effort you put in is minimal. It’s something that you can’t exactly play or beat.

Might look at Holy Cross-similar to Tufts and Boston College.

JustAnotherTry, do you think I can benefit from ED to anywhere?
