I am currently undecided but am interested in law and business but also psych maybe. I really have no idea what to study but am enrolled in the ampersand program law and society. I want to see if I might possibly want to major in business due to better job prospects over law but I don’t feel too strongly about economics… Of course I should major in something I enjoy but I just wanna keep my options open for my major as business has a wide variety of things. Psych is something I would try if it fits into my schedule. Which math classes should I take? I did calc AB in high school. Any easier math classes that would fulfill the requirements? I’m actually in th arts and sciences school and gonna be doing the interdisciplinary program for humanities but don’t plan on staying.
Anyways just wanted some advice about the classes one might advise on taking if interested in those subjects. Thanks!
Statistics might be a good choice. Calc1/2 are going to be pretty rough at WashU.
The Introductory Psychology class is a good one and taught well. Class sizes are large but the instructors do a good job.
Plus the course has the option where if you average a 90%+ on the midterms, you have the option of not taking the final (which is weighted the same as the midterms although it is comprehensive). It is pretty easy to get an A- in the class.
If you are planning to have a major in Olin, you will need to take the version of Stats (quantitative) offered there and not the math department version.
