Interested in trading housing (Unit 1 <-> Unit 3)?

I'm looking for someone that is interested and/or willing to trade residence hall housing with me (I currently live in Unit 3, and am looking to transfer into Unit 1). If you are currently living in Unit 1, but are looking to transfer into Unit 3, or don't mind switching units, please PM me and we can work details out!

There's nothing wrong with my floor or roommates (both the floor and roommates are very social and really friendly people), so it's not like I'm trying to put you into a bad place. I have a personal reason for moving to Unit 1, and would be more than happy to share it over PM.

Thanks!

bump, anyone?

bumpp – I’m a male btw.

hah darn. I was looking into it…all my friends are there. but im a girl unfortunately.

Oh haha, sorry, that might’ve been confusing.

You have to email reshall@berkeley.edu to request for a change. “Trading” rooms hasn’t happened before. Unless you do it illegally of course.

That’s actually not true anymore – I contacted them and they said that trading rooms is allowed if both parties agree to it.

The person I was originally in contact with seems like he won’t be able to move into Unit 3 – is anyone else interested?

Thanks!

bump! haha

bumppageee

Bumpin’ it upp

Bumpp, anyone??

Do you really hate unit 3 that much?

he wants to switch to unit 3. but did u talk to housing? maybe you can make something up and get out of there. srry that it’s not working out. but you know you can cancel your spring housing i’m pretty sure as long as they find a replacement and u can move into tc or westminister or an apt maybe.

If you REALLY must get out, you should talk to an advisor or something and then they can talk to housing for you, and they’ll probably be more effective. From a friend’s experience, the housing dept. does not cooperate with students, but it will quickly comply with the demands of an advisor, or at least someone higher up on the ‘food chain’ than students.

I’m actually looking to transfer out of Unit 3 into Unit 1 - but I haven’t heard of TC and Westminster. What are those?
