Interested in undergrad in forensic science. Advice?

Hello all,
I am about to have my MS in criminal justice (CJ) from a reputable school in CJ. I have a high GPA of a 3.75. My undergrad work is in psychology and criminal justice, but i never had the opportunity to take any science classes because they were ALWAYS full! I am currently seeking jobs as a crime analyst and i’ve come across a lot of forensic jobs as well. I’ve always had a large interest in science. As a high school student, i took biology AP, chem, physics, and anatomy & physiology. I understand that college level science is totally different than high school, but this is the only experience i have to go off of.

To satisfy my yearning for science, i thought an undergrad degree in forensic science would go great with the current degrees i have. It would allow me to qualify for a variety of criminal justice jobs.

So here’s my question, how do i go about this? My husband and i are going to be leaving our current state in August. I would be applying to a 4 year university. What are my chances of getting admitted to a degree in forensic science with my background? I assume it would go something like this: I get admitted to the school because i already have degrees (UGPA 3.3 btw), i tell them i want forensic science as my major, and then they tell me i have to take science pre-req courses, and then we go from there. What if the university near me doesn’t have “forensic science” as a major? Is biology just as good?

All in all, is this going to hurt anything job-wise? Are they going to view me as “overqualified” because i chose to have a few degrees? Criminal justice is always going to need people, and i want to be a competitive applicant for whatever i choose (crime analyst, forensic science jobs, etc). I do not have a perfect idea of what i want to do career-wise in CJ, i just know i’m fascinated by all aspects of it.

Thanks!
