Lol ok slowclap.

What college are/did you attending/attend? hmm?? what medical school are you attending (above my expectations from you)?

Are you going to run to a mod and cry some more because your offended by a 17 year old? Ill enjoy this more than the first time lol.

Lol my motives will be strictly be kept to myself in real life thank you. Lol will have 350 hours of hospital volunteer and 350 hours of medical research when i graduate so cant really say i approve of the question of my “medical experience.”

^^^^ to above poster: when the hell is residency 7 years. The most i can think of is 5 years. Then FELLOWSHIP (NOT RESIDENCY) of 2 years for intra-specialization. My dad is a board certified physician, not a resident. Notice how unlike slowclap, im not going to flag your post.

Basic math. If you take the MCAT a year before you matriculate, and then four years for medical school, seven years puts you two years into your residency.

Basic knowledge of the medical field would tell you this.

[Length of Residencies](http://residency.wustl.edu/medadmin/resweb.nsf/0ee53e934810efcd86256a94005e5f7d/3edd4e91945f8a2b86256f850071ae49?OpenDocument)

I don’t think it is accurate to say that only 25% of those who take the MCAT get into medical school. If you include osteopathic med school (whose students will become fully licensed physicians), that number probably jumps up a lot, especially considering the MCAT averages at many of their schools is 24-30 (~45-75th percentile). Probably then the number of people who never get into a medical school is ~50-60%.

You can’t say you approve of the question of your medical experience? What do you mean by this? You probably will be asked about your “medical experiences” at some point, either on the secondary or the interview, whether you approve of it or not. And let me tell you, since you are in medicine only for the “money”, those 700 hours of hospital volunteering/research will be absolutely miserable.

But you know what? Whatever. You go on thinking you’re hot stuff. Go on insulting other people’s colleges when you haven’t even GOTTEN IN to college yet. Let me know where that thinking leads you. And like I’ve said before, if you become a physician, God help your patients.

you realize none of this counts for med school admissions. they don’t care about anything you’ve done before college.

also, to say that this is comparable to some of the experiences of people on here is insulting at best.

HAHAHA THIS KID hasn’t taken the REAL SATS, just some practice tests, nor has he been accepted into a top 10 school…ROFL…haha.

@CC’er:

“Are you going to run to a mod and cry some more because your offended by a 17 year old? Ill enjoy this more than the first time”
^^^^How did you offend theslowclap, CC’er…your comebacks suck dude…

"What college are/did you attending/attend? hmm?? what medical school are you attending (above my expectations from you)? "
^^^^^Your trying to make fun of someone because of the school they attend? WOW…what a ******bag. Have you gotten into a college yet? Have you even taken the REAL sats, not practice tests? Anyone can score a 2300+ on some practice tests, very few do on the actual test. (I was scoring 2330s on my practice tests, but I only gotta a 2200 on my real test)…

When and IF you get into a good school and IF you actually score well on the REAL sats, not some easy practice tests, then come back and TRY to insult someone.

We should let this thread go away.

Eh, my failsafe is Columbia (ranked 8) so im sure to get into one.

Im weighing the option of a 7 year BS/MD program at NW or Brown, which would weigh my 700 hours pretty heavily.
Im pretty sure ill volunteer in college too. Hell, ll probably pick up a full time job at Columbia medical research branch during college. Apparently, all you need is a B. of science to do research.
^^^^^ to above: I can gaurentee a 2300. The practice tests are indeed previously administered tests so projecting my actually score is effortless. HAHAHAHAH^^^ sucks to be you. 2200… lol. Have fun at number 18(emory).

Yes. A 2200 is a sucky SAT score.

You don’t think there are thousands of other applicants with 2300+ SAT’s applying to Columbia? Nobody is SURE to get into Columbia. Well, I guess the valedictorian with a 2400 SAT, who won the nobel prize in peace and medicine by inventing a drug that saved all the african babies of the world from starvation, and isn’t a jerk about it. That person would be a shoe-in at Columbia. A 2300 SAT guarantees NOTHING, especially if you are as pompous and arrogant about it as you are, CC’er.

Um…no.

There are influential connections and strings to be called and pulled. I made my dad a promise; i get a 2300, he gets me into Columbia as failsafe. He knows some VERY influential people at Columbia. My stats are above average applicant so with a little nudging from a few directors and tenured professors, im bound to get in.
pompous- thats a SAT word.
Looks like to me, a 2300 guarantees IN to Columbia.

Your dad, as in the one who took the MCAT seven years ago?

You do realize that you’re not actually handed a BS when you get into college, that you actually have to earn it over a period of several years while you’re in college before you get it?

Yep. he has connections. You see, his colleagues (college), as well as family friends, are surprisingly prolific in America.
eh, Believe it if you want, dont believe it if you dont want to.

^^^^ to above. yes i realize it. I have seen people do it. A family friend had a daughter go to Stanford for Premed (terrible mistake the girl told me) and got a full time job for 3 month in the summer at a Stanford research center. She will be paid 11000$ for 3month’s work. I think she is doing cancer research. Im not sure how her tax bracket will play out. Will have to ask her in September.

I like your vague language. It makes me really want to believe you.

How do i quote???
I will quote this one:
“eh, Believe it if you want, dont believe it if you dont want to.”

Brown does not have a 7 year program. The PLME is an 8 year program.

my mistake. Still gets the kid into Med school doesnt it?

Okay, now I’m sure you’re being at least somewhat facetious. You did not just insult someone on the basis of their 99th percentile SAT score and the fact that they’re going to a school ranked “number 18” on USNWR… hahahahahhaa.

^^^ lol hahaha, CC’er is hilarious, makes me laugh so much…stop ■■■■■■■■…

"I can gaurentee a 2300. The practice tests are indeed previously administered tests so projecting my actually score is effortless. HAHAHAHAH^^^ sucks to be you. 2200… lol. Have fun at number 18(emory). "

^^^^I am sorry I am a dumbass for only scoring a 2200, and will be attending a school ranked number 18…I am also very sorry I didn’t stay home all day studying for the Sats…

I am going to stop responding to this thread, its a pointless thread…He is obviously a trolll…

“i bet his dad, some greedy doctor who only went into the profession because he has low self esteem and wanted other asians around him to respect him, fed him a few lies and half-truths about how they’re gonna be poor if health care reform passes.”

i like this. props to shraf.

Last time i checked, ■■■■■■ hid under bridges.

Also, how do you quote? This might make it a bit easier for me to respond to kids.
And Poseur: 2200 is definitely not 99th percentile. 730 or 740 is not 99th percentile for sure.
