just curious.... why are you prospective students interested in Cornell University?

Excellent Reputation

Diversity of Areas of Study

Location (the gorgeous campus, proximity to my home in NJ, and proximity to skiing)

Atmosphere (Student body attitude, social scene, etc.)

Those aren't really in order...but I'm glad to be CU '09! :D

we are not, our parents forced us to by gunpoint.

ditto sparticus
+
5. Excellent Opportunities
6. Excellent Facilities

I meant those implicitly polter ;) haha, actually there are just too many good reasons to name, why not go to cornell?

oh, btw sparticus, you seemed to have taken host of my "dear class of 2009" thread. i'm almost afraid to post there without your approval. haha

haha what did I do to your 09 thread?

(I'm just to excited to not post every 2 seconds; CC reminds me every time i try 2 post 2x in less than a minute)

i have my cornell interview in 3 days...
what do they commonly ask?
Do you have any tips (tricks) for me?
thank you

Alumni or Evaluative Interview?

alumni interview

dress nicely, appear clean cut and be cordial, prepare questions you want to ask your interviewer about cornell, ask your interviewer about his/her experiences at the university, most importantly be yourself

and dont stress about it, because it basically doesnt count for anything, unless you're really revolting. A poor inforomational interview wont affect your profile.

Hmm well there are approximately 4398743857 reasons to love Cornell...maybe I will get ambitious one day and begin to list them. Until then, you'll just have to trust me. :D
