Interesting Adjustment Question (From College to Home)

@romanigypsyeyes I do work, but I need more hours since they cut back at my workplace. So, I’ll try again next summer. I’ll either work 2 jobs or get more hours at another job next summer since the current summer is almost over. I tried getting a new job before summer started, but it didn’t work out as I planned. I’ll also be working on campus (about 9-10 hours a week), so that’ll help a little but.

I posted this a little late because my mom has been recently talking to me more about my sleeping habits. I’ll be going back around August 20th, so a little less than a month left remains for me…

This said from parents who made a few - or maybe quite a few - mistakes when their oldest came home from college. It helps/ed us to remember what we were like in college and to know that it’s all normal - both our reactions and theirs. Good luck with your mom. Thank you for being gentle. Some day you’ll appreciate it if your kids are the same way with you.

Oh yeah, thanks for helping out around the house too, but TBH, that’s just plain good manners no matter where you go. Occasionally humans forget that.
