<p>I am a decent student 3.945 GPA from 4.3
I have had all Adv. and Honors courses my first 2 years of HS
my soph year I had all A's and a 4.05 GPA
my junior year I went abroad with AFS to France
I can speak French very well, got an 800 on the SAT II exam
my other SAT II's will be mediocre, but not stellar considering I have not had a second year of US history (this could hurt me big time)</p>
<p>this year, senior year I have 5 AP courses, and I am doing fine 3.7-3.8 GPA</p>
<p>my SATs are:
740 Verbal and 650 Math</p>
<p>I have 1 very, very excellent teacher reccomendation (French teacher and 1 good one
my essays should be fine, they will describe unique experiences blah blah</p>

Im applying to YALE early action, and I am a legacy (father 79')
I have contacted a professor in the French Dep't and he was impressed with my French, and he will write a supplement letter to my application. I will major in French fa' sure, and something else (Economics)</p>

<p>What do my chances look like? What if I applied to Cornell w/ ED with my mom's legacy? What about at Yale?
