Interesting classes?

<p>I’ll be visiting BU over spring break, and I wanted to sit in on a class or two to get a feel for the overall teaching atmosphere and class interaction. Are there any specific classes that anyone can recommend i sit in on to give me a good feel of what typical BU classes are like? Or any class that all freshmen have to take? </p>

<p>I’m undecided, but thinking about majoring in something in science… if anyone can recommend specific departments, that would be amazing :)</p>

<p>Try sitting in on any class with Prof. Mendillo or Prof. Janes. Both are professors on the Astronomy department and teach AS 101 (The Solar System) and AS 102 (The Astronomical Universe) respectively. For something more meaty try Prof. Redner and PY 211 (General Physics) or even meatier Prof. Smith and PY 252 (Principles of Physics II).</p>
