interesting dilemma

So two girls today just went up to me and said a really hot girl in my class liked me. They either maintained damn good poker faces or they were just telling the truth. Should I trust them, and if I do, how should I ask who likes me w/o me giving away who I like?

Are you somebody that this girl would date? I'm sorry, but they might be kidding. She should have the guts to talk to you if this is true--after all, this isn't junior high.

a) Just go up to her, explain the situation in a non-awkward manner, and ask her if she likes you?
b) Or what's wrong with just telling her you like her?

^ no offense, but the ideas from fizix seem really awkward to me. I would suggest increasing contact gradually. This is easiest if she is in one or more of your classes. Don't make it obvious by like switching seats or something, but talk to her a little more than you used to. If everything seems right, ask her on a casual date, like coffee or lunch or something.

you should be able to tell if you're someone that a "hot girl" would date...
