<p>Would you include an anecdote for the “building toys as a kid” section of your essay? Personally, I think that’d be the perfect spot for a little story about your fascination with building early on. </p>
<p>Tying it to website development seems like a bit of a stretch (but that’s just me). I’m certainly not you, and as long as you can find a clear, tangible tie between the two, I think it would work fantastically! Shows your progression and how your ideals and motives progressed along side you.</p>
<p>However, if your goal was to stand out and be completely unique, this essay topic is quite common (quirky younger traits ending with a long lasting mentality towards life). In fact, one of my supplementary essays follows exactly that format. As long as you can be creative with the way you describe event (do more show than tell), you should be fine. Just realize that this type of essay is a fairly common approach. </p>
