Interesting NY Times article Part #1

I actually asked someone about "Which ear if straight?" just to make sure I made the appropriate choice. I'm told that the correlation with identity is diminishing.

The whole thing reminds me of the Hawaiian flower code: left ear "available," "right ear married," worn in the center on a part line "make me an offer."

{Hawaiian flower code: left ear "available," "right ear married," worn in the center on a part line "make me an offer}

You’re beginning to remind me of a good friend who was the national Jeopardy champion some years ago.
How do you come up with all these bizarre facts? Or is your esoteric knowledge limited to interpreting the availability of the opposite sex, or otherwise? In which case, you remind me of a frat brother that had the uncanny ability of never spending a Saturday night alone

Well, looking at my social life, it definitely wasn't Option B. Found out that when TheMom met me, she went home and told an ex-roommate, "I met this guy but he's kinda a dork."

I'm a generalist with a head stuffed full of lots of stuff. I actually passed the audition for Jeopardy during its long first cycle and then they pulled the show off the air. I have a massive weak spot on popular culture, particularly TV, especially if it's never been parodied in MAD Magazine.

Then, too, I'm of Irish descent and can make up a lot of it on the spot.

On a related note, I recieved a several offers of merit aid from LACs that free people had ever heard of but I turned them all down for Smith. It's worth spending more for a better reputation and a much better educational experience.

LadySky, obviously you are a current student? What has your experience been like, and had Smith lived up to your expectations?
