Interesting or overdone topic?

Is feminism overdone? I know a few who have done it/want to, but it’s something I’m passionate about and led me to seek out leadership positions. Could using this topic hurt me in comparison to other essays? I know most people say a mundane topic, connected to a larger passion, is the best way to go.

Anything you are passionate about it is typically a good thing. Just be sure that you don’t come off as a radical feminist because that could have a negative bent.
