So anyway, I just took the ACT for the hell of it with 2 hours of prep on December 10th because I figured hey, if the scores are bad, I won't send them. But they came out interesting... and I'm not sure if it is worth sending the scores to all 14 of my colleges.

My SAT scores: 2140

SAT I Math: 740
SAT I Critical Reading: 730
SAT I Writing: 670
Grammar subscore: 64
Essay: 10

My ACT scores: 31

English 33
Mathematics 35
Reading 29
Science 28
Writing (32 if I get a 10 on essay)

Now, these scores are about on equal footing, as 2140 is, as far as I know, about the same as a 31 ACT score. Well, the wierd thing is that my ACT scores show I am good at "English" (which is similar to the SAT writing MC section) but my SAT says my grammar sucks. My SAT says my reading is good, but my ACT says it sucks. And I also feel my ACT show my math abilities better than my SATs.... and that science section can go kill itself because I hardly prepped for it and didn't get to finish it (or the reading).

Now, I'm leaning toward sending my scores... good idea? Or a waste of money? Now I'm not familiar with the ACTs at all, but I do know this is the "new" ACT. What changed on them? 'cause the USNEWS website only shows the subscores for only the English and Math, not science or reading. So I guess I'm also wondering if my high English and Math, compared to reading and science, is going to help at all?

Help an ignorant ACT guy out.
