White Male Michigan
Large Public HS

My Stats:
3.7 UW GPA
43/440 Rank (once again no weighting, counselor will mention that it would be noticably better if we weighted)
34 ACT (33 math, english, science writing, 36 reading; also got a 33 where I got a 36 science if a school was superscoring, though I realize few do with the ACT)
SAT II's: 780 US History; 740 Physics - Math 2 and Lit 10/6
AP: 5 US History, 5 Psychology, 4 English Language, 3 Calc AB
National Merit Semifinalist

EC's:
Football - 9-12 - 25 hours a week in season
Lacrosse - 10-12 - 20 hours a week in season
- Also Winter and Summer lacrosse
Platoons - 9-12 - 10 hours a week - a weightlifting program with the football team
Spanish Club - 9-11 - wildly varying time, mean about 2 hours per week, various volunteering and cultural activities
Volunteering at an English as a Second Laguage center in Detroit approx. 50 hours
NHS - 12 - as that is the only year it is offered - Vice President

Lack of leadership activities or useless clubs is connected to the fact that most clubs conflict with football and/or require class membership to be a part of them(DECA, Debate, Spanish Club, etc.) and leadership positions are reserved for seniors in almost all clubs with size of school. And I find the student government and the like to be a complete joke at my school, reducing my motivation to get involved. - But that is just my rant.

AP MacroEcon/AP MicroEcon
AP Literature and Composition/same
AP Physics C - both Classical Mechanics and E&M/same
