<p>Is the interim course for the application essay meant to be one you could teach or that you would like to take?</p>
<p>It’s just any course you want to exist; you don’t need to have the skills/knowledge to be able to teach it. Of course, it would put a different spin on the essay if you did design a course that you could teach, as long as you talked about experiences you have had that led you to be interested - or even an expert - in the topic. That would be cool. But it is definitely not necessary to do that.</p>
