<p>I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm applying to Interlochen Arts Academy for next school year. I've always been a multi art kind of person, so I'm between Theatre Arts or Comparative Arts major. My question is, can Comparative Arts majors participate in productions of the departments they study in? (I'd want to be in dance performances and the musical productions). If they can't I'm going to try for theatre, but if they can Comparative Arts is definitely my first choice.

<p>I would advise you to specifically ask this question of Bill Church. He’s the head of the Theatre department, as well as the Comparative Arts program, at Interlochen Arts Academy. You could also contact Donovan Entrekin, in Admissions; he is the admissions officer for the Theatre program.</p>
