I was recently accepted into IAA for theater after attending the arts academy, but the tuition is quite high, and they don’t award scholarships. Has anybody gotten any money from a different scholarship or anything? How did you raise money for the Academy?
As someone who has attended the camp for the past three summers and has many friends at the Academy, I personally have never heard of someone getting an extra outside scholarship to cover tuition. That being said, several of my friends have been able to raise the money via websites like GoFundMe and the like, so it’s not impossible! Best of luck, as Interlochen is an incredible place!
They do offer some $5000 music scholarships. Not sure about theater.
