Interlochen chances? Please help!

<p>Interlochen Arts Acadeny application help?
I REALLY want to go to the Interlochen Academy Preforming Arts High School next year (as a Sophomore) and major in Creative Writing. I think my writing and references are good enough to get in but my grades are pretty bad. My averages for last semester were as follows: </p>

<p>English- 83
Pre-AP Algebra I- 95
Pre-AP Biology- 73
Spanish- 91
Choir- 92
Pre-Ap Geography- 71
Journalism- 60</p>

<p>My grades so far this semester are better but still not incredible. What do you think, do I have any chance of getting in with grades like these? Other than grades, I have been in choir for a couple of years, am involved with my church and have been in an acting/design/building competition called Destination Imagination for 10 years. Sorry if this is long.</p>

<p>you have a good chance but since you want to do creative writing they might not look favorably at the journalism grade. they might want to see your english grades be higher.</p>
