How difficult is it to obtain an internal transfer to the AEM program? (Currently in CAS undecided). Thanks!

Definitely easier than external transfer, but inter-college transfer to AEM is quite competitive afaik. I’ve heard of a couple of 3.7+ Econ kids getting rejected. Make sure you know the AEM professors well and get good grades in the AEM classes you take before transferring.

What are the general requirements for internal transfers to AEM?

You said to know the AEM professors well. Does this mean a letter of rec?

I was an external transfer so I don’t know much about the internal transfer process aside from what I’ve heard from friends. I don’t think you need a letter of rec, but it will be helpful to talk about your relationships with the professors during the interviews and in your essays.
