Internally Transfering Schools

I was accepted ED to WCAS this year. However, after much consideration, I want to internally transfer to the engineering school. I know I have to write a letter, but aside from stating my desire to internally transfer, what should my letter include? Should I include my reasons for wanting to transfer? Any help will be appreciated.

Probably. It also is not likely to be a problem.

I assume you mean you want to transfer before arriving in September, correct? You should get in contact with the Admission Office for McCormick and let them know of your desire to transfer. I'm sure they will want to go over your file and, perhaps, request some sort of written explanation of why.

It will be harder to transfer into MEAS after the school year starts because of the engineering requirements, so I suggest you get in touch with them ASAP.

If you are not successfully transferred from WCAS to McCormick, you can also initiate an interschool transfer application for winter quarter. That is the advanage of the quarter system. You won't fall too behind in coursework.
