Right now I'm a sophomore majoring in accounting. I took my first year finishing out all my gen eds and general business courses so I'm not so deep in accounting. But I am falling behind slightly and I'm realizing that accounting may not be for me. My myers-briggs type is an ENFP and as such I'm really out going, really friendly, and overall a people person. Accounting seems to be a field for the contrary.

I'm interested in international business. I took spanish practically my whole life in school since elementary and I'm almost fluent in it. I also understand french and a little creole since that's my native tongue. I've also heard that International business is far more lucrative then accounting and it's an immensely growing field. This is why I want to change my major to international business.

However, I have a love for computers. Ever since I was a child. Computers have been my passion. But I am an aspiring professional boxer and I figured that a degree in accounting was far better suited for a professional athlete than a technical degree considering they have so many financial issues with money management. I didn't want to be one of those athletes who goes broke soon after his career finishes. That's why I chose business.

I don't really want to make a complete 360 and start taking computer courses or major in a science/technology field. I want to stay in business for my undergrad and maybe pursue my computer passion in grad school with a Masters in Information Systems. Is this a good idea? Do they make a good combination? Is International Business a good field to get into in terms of the pay off as oppose to accounting? Thanks for your answers!
