<p>Very curious, could international students post their admissions decisions and stats here? Don't need a detailed explanation like the official thread just something like:</p>

Decision: Rejected
SAT I: 2400
SAT II: Math IIc 800, Physics 800, Literature 760
GPA: 4.0 UW, ~4.3 weighted
Class Rank: Doesn't rank but top 5% at least
Ethnicity: Asian ORM
Country: Canada
Financial aid: Yes
EC's: many but somewhat related and leadership positions + made it clear which ones I valued
essays: decent (I thought they were ok but I guess they didn't make the cut haha)
Recs: good
Awards, etc: math related awards on national and regional recognition, school academic subject awards, business comp winners as team lead, etc</p>

<p>Especially curious about internationals (particularly asians) who got accepted as the official thread seems to list alot of internationals and asians rejected :(.</p>

<p>This is just a guess. </p>

<p>But given Stanford's limited financial aid for intl's, it would not surprise me if they simply deferred (or, if they found anything that turned them off, rejected) every single applicant requesting finaid just so they can compare them to the RD guys before making a decision on who-gets-what. </p>

<p>I truly feel sorry for you guys, seeing all the rejection letters. (But, then again, it is nothing you can do about it - so make sure to learn your lessons and work on RD apps!) Someone probably wants you :)</p>

<p>Ah well. Although it would be pretty interesting to see if there are any international students seeking financial aid getting accepted.</p>

<p>I'm not sure about the Olympiad comment. Friend of a friend was apparently the provincial winner of the COMC and qualified for the IMO, predicted 42/45 IB and was rejected.</p>
