International + American = Same Test???

Is the test getting given in China at 8 at night in America the same one given in America 12 hours later?

From what I recall doing the SAT here in Australia a few years ago, every international gets the same questions, and they are exactly the same papers as the American ones except the order of questions are different (and order of sections & experimental section of course may be different). That may have changed now, so someone correct me if they have since changed that policy.

Note also that China does not hold the SATs…I read an article somewhere that Chinese mainland people have to fly to like Hong Kong or elsewhere to sit the SAT…

No, they are only the same test on QAS dates - October and May. All other dates the international test is different.

^Thanks for the correction. Back when I did them QAS was available for the January test (which is when I did it) so your explanation sounds right.

8 at night? I thought you took the test at 8 in the morning regardless of where in the world you were. (that’s the case in Pakistan, at least)

wow i didnt know that they were same on QAS dates…that’s whack
