anyway im just wondering if anybody could tell me what my chances are to some of my preferred schools: harvard, yale, columbia, duke, UCB, USC (ivy's aren't warm i know but hey, if i get in i probably won't be complaining ;)

i moved to egypt for my dad's work before my junior year, and was there during the revolution, could maybe use it in essays? i don't know

essays are my thing so assume they'll be good. teachers love me (i'm a suck-up haha ;) so assume recs will be good also. what do you think? i know the ec's are weak.

Bump 10char

Anybody…

Surprised that soccer (which is actually FOOTBALL in the UK) wasn’t available at your school being IN the UK. But anyway. GCSE’s look good, and if you’ve done them SAT’s shouldn’t be too hard. Have you done Subject tests? I dunno if they’re required or not but you might want to look into that. Ivies are a crapshoot, as well as the other schools you mentioned so you can’t really say. Your scores are good. Play up the whole ‘revolution’ thing in the essays. It may be of interest to the Admissions office since it’s sorta a life-changing thing. Good luck!

thanks man, appreciate it!
