I am currently studying in the United Kingdom, about to start year 13 (senior equivalent I think). Alongside applying to my UK universities I also plan on applying to some schools in the US - Cornell (ED), Yale, Harvard and Princeton, and I just wanted to see how I stand as an applicant. I am taking the SATs in October along with subject tests in Physics and Math level 2. In both of the subject tests I would like to score an 800 however I will be disappointed with anything below a 770, furthermore I am also aiming for >1520 in the SATs (allowing for a few dropped marks on the reading and writing side). I am a legacy student at Cornell, my Dad, Aunt, Grandfather and Grandmother all attended and I have enough extracurricular activities to put together a solid application (nothing too amazing but decent). Anyway I have suddenly started to get extremely nervous after seeing the standards of other prospective applicants and would like to know if you see me with any chance of getting into any of the schools I am applying to - especially Cornell (ED) as it is the school I would most like to attend. Any feedback is greatly appreciated
