International applying to CAS!
I don’t think Penn provides the international acceptance rate alone.
But I’m guessing it’s harder for internationals in general…

If you need aid, it’s going to be much harder, but otherwise, wouldn’t make much difference.

I’m 17 years old, and I attend the International School in Munich, Germany. Is there a smaller chance of getting accepted at your school as an international student?

Stetson: Only if you’re applying for financial aid. We have a reduced number of aid grants for international students.

Interesting…

International applying to CAS here.
I dont know how the admission office evaluates my application since i am currently studying in America…

I heard from the admissions office that they look at the citizenship/residency to separate internationals / domestics/ whatevers left
Still, Penn is a competitive school either way so I believe it won’t make much difference

^ citizenship matters largely because of aid allocation.

Where are you guys applying from?

HK . U guys?

^ Of course people with rare nationality are preferred and have better chance to get admitted. But I don’t think they would actually admit an unqualified person. I meant that if you were not as good as to be admitted in the international pool, you prob won’t be too in the domestic pool.

Berber (North african) here… don’t know if that will affect my chances. is moroccan a “rare nationality” ? I’m applying to Wharton by the way lol (obviously, look at my username)

Applying from Canada here, not sure if they have a separate pool for Canada and Mexico? At least that’s what I’ve heard.

^^ I’ve heard that they even have different pools for Chinese, Korean, Thai, etc
I’m sure there would be differences between Canada and MExico
